Join Jamie Mongiovi, Owner & Baker behind Sunshine Macarons, for a macaron 101 class, just in time for Valentine’s Day! We’ll be making heart-shaped macarons filled with raspberry white chocolate whipped ganache, while covering the fundamentals of macaron shells, tips and tricks for success, and troubleshooting the unique challenges of baking in Florida’s humidity. Each participant will receive recipes to take home, a “mini mac pack” with two macarons to enjoy later, and hands-on guidance for mastering these elegant little treats. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to add a touch of sweetness to their Valentine’s celebrations.

Alcohol Policy
Guests 21 and older will enjoy two complimentary glasses of wine with our evening classes, along with water. Please note that outside alcohol is not permitted, and wine service is not available during Saturday morning classes.

Food Allergies
If anyone in your party has a food allergy, please email us at info@brownskitchen.com so we can notify our culinary instructor and staff. Special accommodations, such as vegetarian or gluten-free substitutions, may be available upon request; however, requests made within 48 hours of the class may not be able to be met.

Class Cancellations
Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the seat(s). To cancel, please call (850) 385-5665. If you have to cancel your reservation, we will provide either a refund or a store credit via gift card. You may use the store credit towards any future class or products in the store. However, if you do not cancel prior to the 48 hours, we cannot offer a refund.

Waitlist Policy
If the class you are interested in attending is sold out, please fill out the "Email Me When Available" form which can be found beneath the "Sold Out" symbol for the class. The waitlist does not guarantee a seat and available seats are first come first serve. You will receive an email if a seat becomes available.
Browns Kitchen is the only retailer in Tallahassee that carries Nora Fleming. We have a wide selection of stoneware, melamine, and maple serveware. We also carry Nora's adorable interchangeable minis, including the licensed FSU, UF, and UA football helmets.

Knife Sharpening
Browns Kitchen offers knife sharpening at 75¢ per inch of the blade. We are able to sharpen most kitchen knives, including serrated blades. We are unable to sharpen scissors, pocket knives, and ceramic blades. When you bring your knives in, a team member will do a brief knife consultation where they examine the knife brand, style, and existing condition to assess if we are able to sharpen your knives using our equipment. We try our best to have a 24 hour turnaround time, but it can take up to 48 hours.
