Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a timeless tea inspired by tradition, connection, and a touch of romance. In this demonstration-style class, we’ll prepare a thoughtful selection of dainty finger sandwiches and savory treats, followed by tender raspberry and rose scones and rich chocolate pots de crème. Along the way, we’ll explore the rituals and heritage behind afternoon tea, with tips for hosting a beautiful tea at home—from menu balance to presentation. Whether you’re celebrating with a partner, friends, or simply treating yourself, this cozy and charming class is a lovely way to slow down, savor the moment, and enjoy something truly special.

Alcohol Policy
Guests 21 and older will enjoy two complimentary glasses of wine with our evening classes, along with water. Please note that outside alcohol is not permitted, and wine service is not available during Saturday morning classes.

Food Allergies
If anyone in your party has a food allergy, please email us at info@brownskitchen.com so we can notify our culinary instructor and staff. Special accommodations, such as vegetarian or gluten-free substitutions, may be available upon request; however, requests made within 48 hours of the class may not be able to be met.

Class Cancellations
Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the seat(s). To cancel, please call (850) 385-5665. If you have to cancel your reservation, we will provide either a refund or a store credit via gift card. You may use the store credit towards any future class or products in the store. However, if you do not cancel prior to the 48 hours, we cannot offer a refund.

Waitlist Policy
If the class you are interested in attending is sold out, please fill out the "Email Me When Available" form which can be found beneath the "Sold Out" symbol for the class. The waitlist does not guarantee a seat and available seats are first come first serve. You will receive an email if a seat becomes available.
Browns Kitchen is the only retailer in Tallahassee that carries Nora Fleming. We have a wide selection of stoneware, melamine, and maple serveware. We also carry Nora's adorable interchangeable minis, including the licensed FSU, UF, and UA football helmets.

Knife Sharpening
Browns Kitchen offers knife sharpening at 75¢ per inch of the blade. We are able to sharpen most kitchen knives, including serrated blades. We are unable to sharpen scissors, pocket knives, and ceramic blades. When you bring your knives in, a team member will do a brief knife consultation where they examine the knife brand, style, and existing condition to assess if we are able to sharpen your knives using our equipment. We try our best to have a 24 hour turnaround time, but it can take up to 48 hours.
