Cooking Class Terms & Waiver
Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited seating and advance preparation required for our classes, cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled class time are not eligible for a refund or credit.
If you are unable to attend your class, you may send another person in your place. Please notify us in advance so we can update the reservation.
Guests who do not attend their scheduled class and do not notify us in advance will be considered a no-show and will not receive a refund or store credit.
By purchasing or participating in a Browns Kitchen cooking class, you agree to the following terms and policies.
Reservations & Payment
All classes must be paid in full at the time of registration in order to reserve your seat. Space is limited and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Class Changes
Browns Kitchen reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. If a class is cancelled by Browns Kitchen, guests will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another class.
Menu items and recipes may occasionally change based on seasonal availability of ingredients.
Safety & Participation Waiver
Cooking classes may involve the use of knives, hot surfaces, appliances, and other kitchen equipment. By participating, guests acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with cooking activities.
Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor and Browns Kitchen staff. Browns Kitchen is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur as a result of failure to follow instructions or improper use of equipment.
Participants also acknowledge that food prepared in classes may contain common allergens including but not limited to dairy, nuts, wheat, eggs, soy, shellfish, and gluten. While we strive to accommodate dietary considerations when possible, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Photography
From time to time, Browns Kitchen may photograph or film classes for marketing and promotional purposes. By participating in a class, guests grant permission for their image to be used in promotional materials unless they notify staff otherwise.
Wine may be served during select cooking classes for guests who are 21 years of age or older. Valid government-issued identification may be required.
Participation in wine tastings is optional and intended to complement the cooking experience. Guests who choose to consume alcohol agree to do so responsibly.
By participating in a class where wine is served, guests acknowledge that they assume responsibility for their own alcohol consumption and behavior. Guests are encouraged to arrange safe transportation if needed and should not operate a vehicle while impaired.
