Experience the perfect fusion of sweet basil and rich, barrel aged balsamic. This herbaceous balsamic will add a burst of fresh flavor to any dish. 

Creamy Lemon Basil Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Chicken Breast

  • 2 tsp Black Garlic Infused Sea Salt

  • 1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp Sicilian Lemon Infused Olive Oil, divided

  • 3 Cloves Garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup Chicken Broth

  • 1 Tbsp Wild Garlic Dried Herb Blend

  • ½ cup Half & Half

  • 1 Tbsp Basil Barrel Aged Balsamic

  • 1 Lemon, zested and cut into rounds

  • 2 Tbsp Parsley, Chopped

Directions

  1. Butterfly chicken breast and season with 2 tsp Black Garlic Sea Salt. Let sit 15-30 minutes before cooking.

  2. Heat a skillet to medium heat. Add 1 Tbsp Sicilian Lemon Infused Olive Oil to the pan, once shimmering add chicken and cook until golden, about 4 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for another 4 minutes on the other side.

  3. Remove the chicken and wipe out the oil in the pan. Heat remaining 1 tsp Sicilian Lemon Infused Olive Oil over medium heat in the same skillet. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add chicken broth, Wild Garlic, half and half, Basil Barrel Aged Balsamic, 4 lemon rounds and stir to combine.

  4. Return chicken to pan and let simmer, until the sauce thickens slightly and the chicken is done cooking, about 4-5 minutes.

  5. Remove lemon rounds and plate chicken with sauce. Top with lemon zest and parsley. Enjoy!
