Get ready for a scary good time in this special Halloween cooking class with Chef Nikki Pettineo. She has conjured a marvelous menu inspired by the 1993 classic, Hocus Pocus! In this hybrid class, Chef Nikki will teach you how to craft a Witches Satchel, brew Salems' Spellbinding Stew, and make a dessert to resurrect the dead, all while this quirky film plays in the background!
Menu: Witches Satchel: Fresh Pasta “Satchel” Filled with Pumpkin Parmesan served with Brown Butter and Sage Sauce, Salems’ Spellbinding Stew: Sam Adams Oatmeal Stout Stewed Beef Tips with Hearty Root Vegetables topped with Aged Cheddar Puffed Pastry, Dessert to Resurrect the Dead: Chocolate Sponge with Decadent Chocolate Mousse, Salted Caramel Sauce, and Chocolate Skull.

Browns Kitchen is the only retailer in Tallahassee that carries Nora Fleming. We have a wide selection of stoneware, melamine, and maple serveware. We also carry Nora's adorable interchangeable minis, including the licensed FSU, UF, and UA football helmets.

Knife Sharpening
Browns Kitchen offers knife sharpening at 75¢ per inch of the blade. We are able to sharpen most kitchen knives, including serrated blades. We are unable to sharpen scissors, pocket knives, and ceramic blades. When you bring your knives in, a team member will do a brief knife consultation where they examine the knife brand, style, and existing condition to assess if we are able to sharpen your knives using our equipment. We try our best to have a 24 hour turnaround time, but it can take up to 48 hours.
