With the summer months upon us, it’s time to take a look at the Caribbean Islands and see what inspiration we can draw from these warm, food filled islands. We’ll start with a simple shrimp spread with toasted baguette slices, and they will be sure to have everyone clamoring for one. Afterwards, we’ll move onto our entree of the classic Jamaican Jerk Chicken, served with golden roasted sweet plantains to help combat the spiciness of the jerk rub we’re going to be making. Finally, we’ll finish with a dessert of Pineapple Pudding Cake topped with layers of toasted coconut to provide a light and sweet finish to this delectable meal. So come join us, and see if you can’t feel the ocean breeze while we cook!
